Jump Around's George
The last week of May 2007 I was in Lake George NY with my school. When I got home I ran down to see my rabbits. As I ran down to my rabbitry I saw two lionheads. I got so excited and I ran into my house and asked where they came from. My dad told me they had been called by an assistant leader at 4-H and she had three lionheads that had been dropped at an audubon society. Confused, I asked where the third one was and my dad told me he was down by the rabbits so i ran back outside and found him in my other cage. (He was hiding in a "house" when I first ran out) There was a REW, a sable and a tort... all bucks. They had all been together so they were fighting and the REW was all beat up. I gave Melissa of Hoppn' Hollow Bunny Buds the REW and the Sable and now the REW is healing. I kept the tort for myself and named him George after Lake George. He is so cute and so amazing!
George was very skiddish and afraid of everyone and everything and he was ver thin, even after a year George is still nervous but now lets people handle him and he goes to shows! he has made such great progress!
