Jump Around's Pumpkin
This was our first Holland Lop into our rabbitry. I just fell in love with him at the fair! Pumpkin LOVES to eat! I give him the amount that every holland needs plus treats once or twice a week plus hay!!! Pumpkin does very well in shows, except in the summer when he sheds and looks like an angora!!!! He eats right out of your hand and is very gentle!

Pictured here (L to R) is Campo's Gracin and Jordan's Yukon,
Holland Lops are so sweet. They are almost like Mini lops but smaller.
As much as I love all animals I must say that Holland Lops are one of the best. I said this because they are so mellow, they are also great show rabbits/pets/breeders and friends!
When looking for any rabbit you should look for these things
{Rabbits love the cold weather so in the summer keep a frozen 20oz. bottle with the lable removed in the cage}
Senior Bucks and Does--6 months of age and over, not over 4 pounds, Ideal weight is 3 pounds
Juniour Bucks and Does--Under 6 months of age. Minimum weight is 2 pounds
Feeding:
You should feed your rabbit daily around the same time. When your rabbit is under 6 months old, feed him or her, an unlimited amount every day. A great feed supplier is Blue Seal. A great type of blue seal is Hutch #17 because it has proteins; you should check with your rabbit’s breeder and see what he/she is feeding the rabbit. Holland Lops should have 1/3 of food daily.
Good Treats and How much
1-2 times a week once rabbit is over 6 months!
Bad Treats/ Things
Water:
Water is probably the most important thing the rabbit needs. You should give the rabbit fresh water AT LEAST once a day at feeding time. Most rabbits will not eat unless they have water. On hot days you should give the rabbit fresh water three times a day and you can even put a few ice cubes into the water. Also on hot days you can fill a 20oz bottle (With label removed) with water and freeze it. Once it is frozen place it in the rabbit’s cage. The rabbit will appreciate it very much.
